About The Old Smithy

The Old Smithy is a former blacksmiths and retains the original business sign over the front door. Owned for generations by the Bacon family, the last professional blacksmith shoed horses on the front line during the First World War. Since being attentively converted and interior-designed, The Old Smithy is now a wonderful place to stay, combining unique period features with modern amenities. Located in one of north Norfolk's most unspoilt and picturesque villages, it is the perfect getaway.
